Fix the "Something Went Wrong [1001]" Error

1. Make sure all Office software is closed.
2. Open the Run application.
   1. Right-click the Start Button and click Run.
      

      

3. Click the Run text box and enter %localappdata%\Microsoft
   

   

4. Click Ok.
5. When Windows File Explorer opens, find and right-click OneAuth.
6. Click Rename. Then rename OneAuth to OneAuth.backup
7. Find and right-click IdentityCache.
8. Click Rename. Then rename IdentityCache to IdentityCache.backup
9. Open Word or Excel and Sign In. The error will now be gone.
